Liptovský Mikuláš
For Liptovský Mikuláš, we designed a comprehensive manual of the city’s navigation and information system. All elements of the system are unified both visually (color, pictograms, typeface) and by information structuring—taking into account the different needs of pedestrians, cyclists and motorists. A distinctive unifying element is the golden accent, which is placed on the edge (upper or inner) of the medium.
The set of pictograms also includes simplified drawings of many important buildings and monuments in the city. Twelve of them are also designed in a larger ‘optical size’ with more details for use on a wayfinding totem.
